2/11/21 - This is a rare Police-issued Mauser banner Luger from 1940 with both of the original, matching magazines. There were only about 3,300 of these produced in 1940 with Eagle/L marking on receiver. This one is a little faded where the 'L' would be but puts it in the right serial range for the E/L proofs. The pistol is all matching throughout, with a very nice profile but the vast majority of the bluing loss on the straps. The grips are not numbered but E/655 proofed. They show some handling wear on each panel but no cracks or chips. Minty bore.
