Description

8/7/18 - This is a scarce, late war Sauer 38h that was issued to the German Police.  It is marked on the trigger guard with Eagle over F proof, and is one of only about ~1200 produced with no safety lever and this Police marking.  The finish rates in the low 90s with a few minor areas of thinning, most notably the back of pistol where the slide and frame meet.  The grips are original but the left panel has minor bubbling and the right has a crack.  Excellent bore and original magazine with zinc bottom.
