Description

11/12/20 - This is an excellent example of a rare Rheinmetall ABT. The Rheinmetall ABT is a close copy of the Browning Model 1912 pistol. The company making this copy was Rheinische Metallwaren-und Maschinenfabrik, or "Rheinmetall". Made in Sommerda Germany between 1922 and 1927. Only 12,000 were ever made. All serial numbers all start with 25 and the last 4 digits show the sequence. This pistol has a serial number of 258XXX. It is marked Rheinmetall ABT, Sommerida and the RM trade mark of a diamond within a circle.The gun is made in 7.65/.32ACP. The original finish rates at 97-98% with just minor hints of high edge wear. Excellent bore and grips.
