Description
10/19/26 - This is a rare third-variation "Zero Series" Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1940. The Zero Series guns were Walther's first production run of P.38s for the German military, made in 1940 with a leading zero in the serial number, and they are among the most sought-after P.38 variations. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. The grips are matching-numbered and Eagle 359-proofed, and it comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, with general high edge and muzzle wear and some very light surface scratching along the right side of the slide. The sights are properly painted red and white. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional. With its matching magazine and matching grips, this is a standout Zero Series for any P.38 collection.
