Description

8/6/21 - This is a super rare antique leather carry case for a W.R. Pape double English SxS shotgun with barrels up to 30 inches long. This one comes with very interesting history - it was apparently on board of HMS Barham that participated in the Battle of Jutland in WWI. The case sustained some damage at that time and the intervals were restored. It is in great shape. It would be interesting to find out who the original owner was. Name of the original owner is impressed on the lid. A great piece of history!
