2/11/19 - This is an extremely rare Zero Series Walther P.38 from 1945. Only 1,750 of these were produced according to Whittington's book. This particular pistol is especially desirable because all three acceptance proofs are present on the slide, while the majority of these pistols were not finished in time to receive full military acceptance (only had one proof). The finish on this late war pistol is excellent, with a minty profile view but a thin front strap that also shows the common casting flaw. All parts are matching and correct. This late-war pistol has matching slide, frame, barrel and locking block. Beautiful reddish Walther grips. Excellent bore.
