Description

12/1/23 - This is a cool Remington Model 1903 from September of 1942 that has been customized/modified into a sniper/target configuration. Remington receiver with High Standard replacement barrel from 1944. Minty stock that came out of the CMP. Barrel bands and butt plate are GI originals, as is the sling. The scope is made by Litschert and was available on the civilian market and often used by distance shooters. It's a 15 power and fitted with a recoil spring, with a screw on front lens cap and custom scope box. This is a nice option for someone looking for similar to the famed USMC sniper rifle builds. Excellent bore and clear optics on the scope.
