Description

6/27/19 - This is an original Remington 1911A1 rig from early 1945, with holster, belt, magazine pouch and two spare magazines. The pistol is all correct with 95-97% parkerized finish, showing only minor finish loss on the slide and front edge of the frame. There are also several small areas of oxidation and discoloration on both sides of the slide. Very nice grips and terrific bore. Correct 'HS' barrel. Magazine in the pistol is 'R' marked on the toe. The two spares are unmarked. Mag pouch is maker marked and 1942 dated. Holster is made by Milwaukee Saddlery and 1944 dated.
