Description
3/19/26- For sale is a very nice reproduction German M42 combat helmet with chicken wire mesh. The shell is darkly painted with no surface wear or rust. There is a reproduction Heer decal on the left side. The exterior of the helmet has the improvised chicken wire mesh that was used to insert branches or foliage to camouflage the silhouette of the soldiers. The helmet interior has the same paint and lack of rust as the exterior. The liner is a nice reproduction and fully intact and flexible. Chinstrap is intact. Overall in excellent condition and a very nice piece for display, reenactment, or wear.
