Description

11/25/20 - This is an all matching and original example of a scarce Nazi K98 from 1938. The 237 code on the receiver indicates it was made at the Berlin-Lubecker factory, and is an uncommon code to find in original configuration. Matching serial numbers throughout, including the trigger group, bolt assembly, stock, bands and even the screws. Sharp waffen stamps are present all over, including the stock. Original sling, muzzle cap and cleaning rod are included. Original bluing on the metal parts, but some thinning and patina spread throughout. No pitting or notable defects. Excellent stock but there is a repaired are on the underside, where it meets the buttplate. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.
