Description
10/12/26 - For sale is a No4 Mk1 (T) Sniper made by BSA Shirley in 1945. The rifle has the correct signs of being an original sniper with the TR stamp on the receiver ring and the S51 stamped on the buttstock. The metal has a black enamel finish throughout, with some of the finish wearing to a grey color and some surface scuffs on the magazine. The stock has been lightly sanded but is free of any cracks or breaks. There is what looks like a 6/69 painted on the buttstock. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle matches itself on the receiver, bolt, and forestock. The rifle comes equipped with a No32 Mk3 scope. The lens is clear with a strong reticle. The scope and mount do not match the rifle. Also included is a canvas scope case, which does not match the scope, and an original wood transit case. The transit case does not match the rifle, and its leather handles are ripped.
