Description
1/29/25 - For sale is a scarce VZ.33 made by BRNO and accepted into service in 1935. These carbines were the precursors to the famous German G33/40 Mountain Carbine used during WW2. The rifle retains a nice blue finish on the metal with some slid efading form age and wear. The stock is well worn and likely has been lightly sanded sometime in the past. The stock disk is marked "FS" for the Finance Guard, which was a customs and border protection armed service under the command of the Czechoslovak Department of Finance. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver and bolt, but the stock and stock disk do not match the receiver. The bore is bright with great rifling but there is a spot of pitting near the muzzle. The Rampant Lion on the receiver is clear and untouched.Specifications
