Description
8/16/21 - Between 1926 and May of 1940, nearly 60,000 FN Browning M1922 pistols were shipped to the Netherlands and designated Pistool M25 No.2 by the Koninklijke Landmacht. These pistols feature a large Crown/W proof on the slide for Queen Wilhelmina. While 60,000 would suggest a somewhat common pistol, the survival rate on these is relatively low as we only receive one or two per year. Frame is also Crown/W inspector marked. This one is all original and in very good condition with standard wear around the muzzle, and a little more on the right side of the slide and bottom of back strap. The magazine is correct and serialized but the number is not matching to this pistol. Terrific bore. Very nice grips with no cracks or chips. NOTE: This one is filled with oil/Cosmoline so will need a more thorough cleaning.Specifications
