Description
08/25/26 - For sale is an Erfurt Kar98a made in 1916 that was kept and used during the Weimar Era after WW1 as noted by the "1920" stamp on the receiver. The rifle was then reworked going into WW2 and used by the German Police. The metal has a nice blued finish with some browning and oxidation spots. The barrel band and muzzle area show finish loss and oxidation. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. The surface feels like it has been cleaned by a prior owner. The stamps are still sharp. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Comes with a 1884/98 bayonet. Overall in great shape but the markings had been sanitized and there is no serial number on the scabbard.
