Description
10/5/21 - The M7 Roth Steyr in 8mm was adopted by the Austro-Hungarian Army in 1907. Some portion of the production was contracted to Fegyvergyar in Budapest, including the pistol listed here. It is 1912 dated with the Austro-Hungarian eagle on the back of the pistol.. The pistol functions with a locked breech, rotating barrel action. Features a double action trigger, knurled cocking piece, fixed blade and notch sights, and the second variation frame with the disconnector pin. The top of the barrel is marked "Fegyvergyar Budapest," and the rear of the frame is marked "W.n/eagle/12". The pistol is all original with about 92-94% blue remaining. There is some high edge wear, but overall not much actual bluing loss. There is oxidation on most of the pistol though, especially the grip frame. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. Excellent grips. Right grip has medallion marked '8GAR.209'.Specifications
