Description
11/19/21 - The M1907 Roth Steyr in 8mm was adopted by the Austro-Hungarian Army in 1907. Some portion of the production was contracted to Fegyvergyar in Budapest, including the pistol listed here. This one is all matching, 1918-dated, and has the Austro-Hungarian eagle on the back of the pistol. The disc on the right grip panel is marked "1BHR 129". It has retained roughly 75% of its original finish. There is noticeable finish loss on both sides of the frame and on the whole barrel. A couple of small areas of wear on both grip straps. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation on the whole gun and heavy brown patina on both grip straps. Comes with nice period-correct wood grips with some minor bruising and a couple of small gouges. The rifling in the bore is a bit weak with pitting throughout.Specifications
