Description
5/23/19 - This is a Saginaw Gear S'G' made M1 Carbine from World War II. Terrific condition to both stock and metal finish. Minor thinning of the barrel, and excellent finish on receiver. S'G' carbines were produced at the Grand Rapids plant, which is also where the Irwin-Pedersen carbines were made, so it's common to find I-P parts on these rifles. This one has an IP-A marked safety. Barrel is dated to September of 1943 and was made by Underwood. Stock has sharp cartouche and sling well is correctly marked R-S'G'. Trigger assembly and internals marked S'G'. Rear sight marked RG. Butt plate marked PM-S'G'. Comes with original sling and mag pouch, with two total magazines. One marked UG, other marked UQ. Terrific bore and stock without defect.Specifications
