2/22/26 - This is a scarce SU25-Marked Luger tool manufactured in 1935. These tools were manufactured by Waffenwerkstatt of Heereszeugamt and were provided to depots for spare parts, and were also included in the Waffenmeister kits which were distributed to armorers. Per the book Luger Tools: Originals, Fakes, and Reproductions, the markings on these tools are invariably hard to read, it is believed that most SU25 marked tools were stamped with a broken die (p.72). This Luger tool bears no serial number. This tool has retained very little of its original finish, most predominantly present on the high-edges. This tool is fully functional and is strong with no signs of any chips or cracks in the metal.
