Description

8/5/21 - This is an original Swedish AG 42 rifle. These were produced by AB C.J. Ljungmans Verkstäder company beginning in 1942 and roughly 30,000 were made. This rifle was made in 1943 and has matching numbered parts on receiver, buttplate and bolt. Right side of receiver is marked 'S.S', which denotes inspection by Sten W. Stenmo. The rifle is in fair condition, with worn but original finish on the metal parts. The breech cover is painted black and some of the pain is chipped, but most is intact. The stock has a notable crack with two chips on the underside toward the muzzle end. The bore has okay rifling but pretty frosted throughout. Smooth operation and comes with an original cleaning rod. No import mark. Comes with sling and cleaning rod.
