Description

10/23/20 - This is a very nice and original example of a hard-to-find Winchester Model 12 riot shotgun. Serial dates the gun to 1943-44 range, and it's marked US with the flaming bomb proof. Likely went to a facility or base guard during World War II. Nice original finish throughout with largest point of issue being some freckling along the right side of the receiver. Minor finish loss on barrel and magazine tube. A little more freckling and wear on the left side and trigger guard. Sharp inspectors proof and crossed cannon cartouche on left side of stock. Heat mark on the receiver helps to indicate original finish. Good mechanically with minty bore. Excellent stock without cracks or chips.
