Description
10/7/26 - This is a very nice example of a second variation AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The gun is all matching and wears the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs. The original finish rates about 93-94%, with the majority of the wear toward the back right of the slide, plus general high edge and muzzle wear and a hint of thinning on the front strap. There is also a small area of light pitting on the top plate. Fitted with period-correct reddish particle grips and comes with a proper "Eagle 359" marked, unnumbered Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout. De-cocker is functional. A solid wartime AC 42 P.38 with honest wear.
