Description
9/20/22 - This is an excellent example of a first-variation AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are very nice. There is muzzle wear, minor wear around the high edges of the slide, and a few small spots of wear on the right side of the slide. There is a tiny ding and a few very light scratches on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent Walther grips - not waffen-proofed. Also comes with an early double "Eagle 359" proofed magazine that is numbered on the toe and not matching to the gun. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
