Description
10/20/22 - This is an extremely early example of a first-variation AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1942. With a serial number of "41", this only the 41st AC 42 P.38 ever produced! It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is also minor spotty / scratchy wear around the high edges of the slide. Minor muzzle wear. An area of pitting on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent "Eagle 359" proofed grips and an "Eagle 359" proofed magazine. The bore has strong rifling, but there is noticeable freckling throughout. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
