08/10/26 - For sale is a Sharps New Model 1863 Saddle Ring Carbine chambered in the original .52 Sharps percussion-fired cartridge. The metal has aged to a grey/brown patina with light speckles of surface corrosion. The stock is in great shape, but is void of any inspection stamps. The forend has a large crack around the bottom screw about 4" in length. The bore is in fair condition with good rifling and still fairly bright. There is visible oxidation and wear. The action functions properly.
