4/20/26- For sale is a rare box of 11x60mm ammo for the M1871 Mauser rifle. The M1871 was the first of the famous Mauser rifles that would be the German standard for the next 75 years of German military history. The ammo comes in a nice blue paper box with 20 rounds of ammo inside. The label indicated the cartridges are for the M71 rifle and were produced in September 1875. The rounds are aged with some mild patina and corrosion but no serious damage. Some of the headstamps have the numbers "81" and "82" on them, potentially indicating the ammo is not original to the box. Overall in good condition.
