Description
6/25/25 - This is a very nice example of a CZ Model 38 manufactured in 1939. This one is part of the early Nazi military contract. It is in the proper 250000-291000 serial range and has the proper features, such as high polish finish and Czech Lion proofs throughout. This one does have "Waffen 76" proofs on the left side of the frame and on the barrel. However, we do not think these proofs are original because waffen-proofed guns appear much later and are usually in the "B" prefix serial range. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original bluing with general high edge wear. Fitted with an excellent one piece reddish bakelite grip - no cracks or chips. Comes with a numbered magazine that does not match the gun. The bore is mostly shiny with strong rifling, but there is some light freckling in the grooves.
