Description
04/21/26 - For sale is a Japanese Type I Carcano chambered in 6.5x50sr Arisaka. The Japanese Navy would be in need of arms and would reach out to its allies in Europe and Italy would produce a Type 38 length rifle with the Carcano action and chambered in 6.5 Arisaka. The rifle is in nice shape with the bulk of its original bluing remaining. Much of the rifle has a layer of surface patina. The magazine floor shows finish wear. The stock and handguard are in good condition without any cracks or breaks. The splice on the buttstock is widening from expanding and shrinking with age. The bore is bright with good rifling. Comes with a Type 38 cleaning rod installed and a m1907 sling. There are some tears on the sling.
