Description

4/8/26- For sale is a German fire department belt buckle. The buckle is of a similar construction as German WWI and WW2 buckles but has no Nazi imagery, so it is likely from the interwar period. The buckle has an image of a fire helmet, rope, ladder, and axe surrounded by a ring of text that says "Honor to God and Protection of Neighbors". The central medallion is brass on a shiny steel buckle. The back of the buckle has a handwritten translation. The belt prongs and small loop are both intact and functional. Overall in excellent condition.
