Description
8/1/25 - For sale is a Model 1909 made by C.G. Haenel to compete with Mauser Gewehr 98. The rifle uses a turn bolt Mannlicher action from the Gewehr 1888 rifle. This rifle was made primarily for commercial and export to foreign militaries. Many of these rifles would end up with the Uruguay Military. This rifle is in fantastic shape with a very nice blued finish throughout the metal. There is light wear towards the top front edge of the receiver. The stock is in great shape with minimal wear to note. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. There's some packing grease at the muzzle.
The rifle has matching numbers throughout.
