SOLD - Japanese Type 99 4x Scope and Case

6/16/26- For sale is a rare Type 99 4x Japanese sniper scope. Japanese snipers were some of the most feared enemies of the Pacific War and the Type 99 rifle was Japan's best sniper during the war. This scope is the standard fixed 4x scope. The exterior of the scope has very light wear and no serious damage. The optics are perfectly clear and the interior reticle is intact and visible. The rubber eye cup is intact. The lock and unlock lever is functional and labeled in Japanese. The front end of the scope indicates the 4x zoom and 7 degree field of view, along with the serial 6411. Some of the parts are numbered 100. The mounting plate is numbered L492. The scope comes in an original carrying case for the Type 99 4x sniper scope. The case is made of a hardened canvas with a felt liner for where it contacts the scope. The case is constructed with flat screws and has the shoulder strap. The exterior of the case is mostly painted brown with a few spots of wear but no serious damage or scrapes. Scope and case intact and in overall excellent condition.
