SOLD - Nice German LP34 Flare Gun Rig

Description

10/06/26 - A complete German LP34 flare gun rig - pistol, holster, flare tool, and Bakelite cannister, all in one package. The flare gun is an early model bearing the commercial Walther text and banner alongside the Waffen military proofs - a desirable crossover of commercial and wartime markings. The frame wears serial 7051, and the right side of the frame and barrel carry commercial eagle and heart proofs along with WaA 359, corresponding to Walther. The gun is mostly blued with significant finish loss, especially on the barrel and the raised edges of the octagonal chamber, and is mechanically sound, with an empty flare cartridge in the chamber for demonstration loading and unloading. The holster shows honest surface wear with a few letters scraped into the surface, and the inside of the top flap has an ink stamp that includes the year 1942. The flare tool is included with wear to the paint - its attachment strap is broken but present - and the empty Bakelite flare cannister retains an intact label with 1941 date marking. Overall very good condition, and complete dated LP34 rigs like this are getting very hard to put together.
