05/20/26 - For sale is a Whitinneyville Contract Model 1861 made in 1863. The rifle is in nice condition overall. The metal appears to have been cleaned at least once on the barrel. The stock is in great shape without any breaks. There are numerous surface dings. The area around the front barrel band does show some chipping. The bore is fair with visible rifling, and the surface has darkened over. The action functions properly. Comes with a correct socket bayonet.
