Description
8/5/25 - For sale is a Savage model 720 made for the commercial market in the late 1940s. The shotgun has an engraving on the receiver of a hound chasing fowl on the left side, a floral pattern on top, and ton he right side with waterfowl. The receiver has faded to a grey finish with light scratches visible. The barrel retains a darker finish with light scratches towards the muzzle. The bore is bright. There is a surface crack on the left side of the buttstock below the comb about 9" in length. The forend has a 2.5" crack on the underside. The right side of the forend has a small 1" chip at the front corner.
