Description
7/23/25 - This is an excellent example of a scarce 1921-dated DWM Luger issued to the German police force during the Weimar Era. It is all matching and has Weimar-era police proofs on the right side of the slide. It has an added police sear safety and an "S.D.I.273.R." police unit marking on the front strap (the "R" has been crossed out). It comes as a complete rig with a 1933-dated, matching-numbered holster, matching-numbered Luger tool, and two matching-numbered magazines. One of the magazines is wood-bottom (it is chipped and about half is missing), and the other is aluminum bottom. But they both look correct and were likely numbered and put together at the police arsenal, along with the rest of the rig. The gun's bluing rates about 94% with just minor wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Fitted with excellent un-numbered wood grips.
