Description

8/6/25 - This is an excellent example of a scarce AC 44 Walther P.38, with frame produced at the FN factory as evidenced by the "Eagle 140" proof. Krutzek's P.38 book estimates that only 7,300 frames were produced and used by FN on World War II original pistols. This one is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" proofs throughout. It has retained about 96-97% of its original finish, and the bluing on the frame has a desirable plum color to it. The majority of the wear comes in the form of very minor thinning on the front strap, so the profile views are near-mint. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
