Description
04/20/26 - For sale is a Nagoya Type 99 Long Arisaka chambered in 7.7x58. These rifles were made prior to the introduction to the short rifle variation of the Type 99. Nagoya would produce 8000 rifles while Toyo Kogyo made 38,000. The rifle has a nice blued finish with the main blemish being the ground Imperial Mum. There is some light oxidation towards the barrel and a ring from a bayonet. The stock is clean with surface wear and dings. No cracks or breaks to note. The Nagoya proof is still sharp at the wrist. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety knob, firing pin, and bayonet lug. Comes with a Type 30 Bayonet, scabbard, and frog. The blade has been cleaned and has a shiny finish. The grip panels were sanded. The frog is original.
