Description
06/29/26 - For sale is a Stevens Model 620 shotgun used by the US Military as a training shotgun going into and during WW2. The gun was made around 1938 to 1939, prior to the change to the Model 620A. The majority of the Stevens shotguns used by the US Military would be the 620A.
The metal has an aged, shinier bluing on the barrel, and the receiver has a more matte military blue. The metal finish shows wear from use and some scuffing on the surface. The left side of the receiver has a P, flaming bomb, and "US" stamp. The barrel also has a P and flaming bomb stamp. The stock and front are in great shape with only a tiny chip behind the upper tang. The plastic cap of the bottom of the pistol grip also has some chipping on the edges. The rubber buttpad had hardened from age. The bore is bright with oxidation on the surface. The bore is a cylinder bore. The barrel measures 26" and the LOP is 13.5".
