9/22/25 - For sale is a Type 44 Arisaka made by the Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo Arsenal) and falls under the 1st series. The rifle retains a nice shiny bluing throughout. The Imperial mum on the receiver has been ground off. The stock shows handling and pressure marks but no breaks. The bottom of the stock shows some hard dings and dents. Bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety knob, bayonet housing, magazine floorplate, and dustcover. Also has matching assembly numbers on the bolt stop lever, stock, barrel, trigger guard, extractor, trigger, and trigger guard tang. The bayonet release button has a different assembly series number.
