Description
09/30/26 - For sale is an Irish Contract Winchester P14 No3 Mk1* W(T) Sniper chambered in .303 British. These rifles were rebuilt and refurbished by the British Military and provided to the Irish Free State during the 1930s. The metal retains an aged bluing, turning a matte dark grey color. There is also a hint of brown patina. The serial number was moved to the right side of the rear sight protector. The rear scope mount has heavy finish wear around the screws and had enamel painted over it, but the enamel has flaked off. The stock is in great shape without any cracks or breaks. The right side of the stock is marked with a broadhead arrow and star, "IW" in a circle, and "PATT 14". The wrist is also stamped with a Crown/39 and Crown/41. The left side of the stock retains the volley sight base. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The mount is marked FF for Fianna Fáil and a Crown proof. The scope is in good shape with a matching serial number on the left side. The lens is clear, and the reticle is sharp. Included is an original scope case (mismatched), Lens cover, and sling.
