Description

2/28/25 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 Mauser made at the Spandau factory in 1916. The receiver is still in the white but multiple patches of old surface oxidation and shallow pitting. The barrel also has a hint of its blued finish but most of it has worn away to a darkened grey. The stock has been sanded but no cracks or breaks. The bore is bright but frosted over but has strong rifling. The rifle is mismatched. The extractor bar and collar are absent from the bolt.
