Description

5/6/22 - This is an honest and fairly early M1 Garand that was made at the Springfield Armory in late 1942. Proper stock with two crossed cannons cartouches and S.A. over E.McF. inspectors mark for Col. Earl McFarland. All original Springfield parts throughout. The finish on the metal parts is original but clearly thinning all over. The stock has many dings and nicks but no cracks or structural issues. Comes with an original leather sling that is definitely broken-in and has a small tear near the rear swing swivel. The bore shows a fair amount of use and wear with frost throughout and some pitting in the front half of the barrel. Barrel is dated to August of 1942.
