Description

7/29/20 - This is a very nice example of an original Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was made in 1942 for the US military. Serial dates the gun to about September of that year, and the barrel is also dated to September of 1942 with SA marking. The original finish is excellent with most of the wear on the gas tube. Original stock with faint SA cartouche on the left side. Circle P proof on wrist. The wood shows several dings and nicks but no cracks. Muzzle is a 3.5, throat is a 1. Bore is shiny with strong rifling.
