02/10/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1863 that received the Allin Trapdoor conversion in 1866. Chambered in 50-70 Government. The rifle shows its age and wear. The barrel has a grey patina color and the trapdoor retains a deep bluing. The stock is in great shape with many surface dings and scratches. The left side is stamped "Co 1661 1349". The bore is bright with strong rifling. The ramrod is a reproduction and does not stay secured in the rifle as the end is not threaded.
