Description

4/24/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle with the ramrod bayonet. The rifle is well aged with most of the bluing worn to a dull grey with freckles of oxidation. The trapdoor has a very faint case color finish remaining. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. The left side of the buttstock has "T.C. Mitchell" stamped. The bore is bright with good rifling, but there is prickling of corrosion visible about 5inches from the muzzle.
