09/03/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1903 made in 1918. The rifle had been rebuilt sometime after WW1. The receiver has an aged phosphate finish. There are some tool/vice marks where the receiver and barrel shank meet. A prior owner had tried to touch it up with Cold Blue. The stock is a 1903A3 stock and in great shape overall. The bore is bright with strong rifling; there are a couple of spots of corrosion visible about 4 inches from the muzzle. The handguard is also a replacement that is not color-match the 1903A3 stock.
