SOLD - DAK K98 Bayonet - Matching Scabbard (SW031325-01(Ohio))

Description

3/13/25 - This is an original, fairly scarce variation German Afrika Korps K98 bayonet. The bayonet comes with a matching numbered scabbard and a canvas frog. The frog is unmarked and in very good condition with some typical use and aging wear. The blade shows some spotting and scabbard wear. There is no evidence of sharpening. The wood handle is in great shape and the metal parts around the grip panels have typical surface patina and surface corrosion. The locking mechanism is fully functional. The scabbard is missing most of the blued finish showing showing some surface corrosion. There is a small dent on the front, but it does not affect insertion or removal.
