Description

7/25/23 - This is an excellent example of a Smith-Corona Model 03-A3 rifle issued to the US military during WW2. This is a CMP refurbished rifle that includes a CMP Certificate. The serial number on the receiver dates it to 1944. The barrel is S-C marked and dated June of 1943. The stock is un-marked and has a small repair on the left side of the front fore guard. The finish on the metal parts a have been CMP-refinished. In any case, the gun is in excellent condition overall with just minor use wear. The bore rates a strong 8 of 10 with very good rifling. Includes the CMP certificate, however, the previous owner requested the name be blacked out upon sale.
