Description

7/26/24 - This is a great example of a Smith-Corona 03-A3 with a scarce six groove barrel, rather than the common four groove. Great finish throughout, with minor high edge wear. FJA inspector mark and crossed cannons cartouche on stock. Somewhat faint, but visible. Stock shows minor wear and handling marks, but it is solid with no cracks. Barrel date of February, 1943. The 6 groove bore shows minor frosting but strong rifling and rates 8 of 10. ME and TE both measure a 3. Smooth action and fully functional.
