Description

8/8/23 - Original and beautiful condition. This 12GA double barrel was manufactured by Auguste Francotte in the early 1900's, and imported and sold by Von Lengerke & Detmold of New York as indicated by the stamp on the forward part of the barrel rib. This Hammerless Boxlock 12 Gauge Side-by-Side has 28" Damascus barrels. They have a beautiful twist pattern and "rust" color swirls. Rear part of the barrel rib has gold stripe inlay as well as the "SAFETY" under the thumb selector. Bores are excellent with no pitting or corrosion. Finely detailed engraving throughout. The stock checkering is still sharp and distinct. Minor use wear. An extended recoil pad was added sometime in the past. High quality throughout.
