Description

10/13/22 - Original and excellent condition. A classic, German, hard-hitting hunter's rifle by the very renowned maker, Eduard Kettner. It has a full length matted rib, on an octagonal-round barrel, full stock, double set triggers, two leaf rear sight and is set up for German claw mounts. The bore is extremely nice with minimal wear and excellent rifling. Featuring a butter-knife bolt handle. The rifle is full-stocked with cheek piece. Caliber is 10.75x68mm, a caliber that saw much use in the German African colonies, a classic cartridge in a classic Mauser rifle. Matching numbers on barrel, receiver and stock interior. Original blued finish rates about 98 - 99%. Clean and solid hard wood stock with minor use wear. Small chip in the butt plate. Beautiful piece.
